David Bouchey joined the Company in 2008. Dr. Bouchey spent 16 years in science research and academia before entering the industry and holds three post-graduate degrees; a Masters Degree in Virology and a Masters degree in Business Administration earned simultaneously at the University of Kentucky and a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the University of Virginia.

Immediately prior to joining the company, Dr. Bouchey was an independent consultant on multiple business development projects in oncology and cardiology. Prior to that, Dr. Bouchey was a respected biotechnology industry analyst from 1999 to 2007, working for Bigelow & CO., C.E. Unterberg, Towbin, RBC Capital Markets and Canaccord Adams. As an analyst, Dr. Bouchey earned a five-star ranking from Starmine for accuracy of financial projections and was designated a “Home-Run Hitter of 2003” by Institutional Investor, becoming the first double home-run hitter since 1990.
